its a bad idea to get the regular housings and convert them to hid. hella makes purpose made hid housings in the exact same size. they cost a bit more though. i recommend getting them from www.rallylights.com, great people over there.

Get some Acrylic at your local Plastic shop easilly located in the yellow pages on can be ordered on line. Grab your old head light and pull the metal cover off it..make sure you buy thin acrylic like 1/8 or so. Grab a butane torch and run it over the plexyglass while placed over the stock head light. The heat will bend the plexy for you. Oh dont forget to get good grade acrylic. Ok so keep the torch 4-5 inches away from the plexy glass but keep it m oving. As soon as the plexy reaches a temp of 350 degrees or so the plastic will beging to bend..soon yuo will have the perfect shape. Make sure you have a sharpe on hand and outline the area you want to cut and then when cooled off grab a jig saw with the most teeth on the blade you can find and as thin as you can find. Jig the suker out. If you want clear edges you can sand the edges of the acrylic with something like 80grit paper and use the propane and polish the edges ..again be very carefull and take your time once the acryic becomes clear keep it moving untill you finish..
Congradulations you got a new headlight cover...
