i used to run a stereo shop, if you want a good sounding system for a roughly cheaper price i would reccoment getting your hands on 2 MTX thunder8000 10's in mtx's sledgehammer box, and find an MTX 801D 2channel 800W monoblock amplifier, bridge the amp over the the 2ohm subs, and you will have a very GOOD sound, for the system now you will be looking for a retail of about $600+/-... if you want more you could always go with an mtx 9500 12 which comes in its own box (the sub has a HUGE magnet, and the box has to have a internal subframe to hold the weight of the sub), you can also run that with the 801D, but retail for that you are looking in the area of 800+... those are just my personal prefences
