Get a RX-7 Turbo II, don't really know how good they are on gas after you mod them, but they can be made very fast for not too much money.

Why can't you get a loan for a FD?

Banks only lend back to certain model year cars.

But...

Credit Unions usually have more lax rules as to how old and sometimes if its a rare sports car they will loan on it. My old credit union had a list of older collector cars it would give loans on. I almost financed a 68 Porsche once.

i am gettign a 2nd job and will increase my monthy income about 200 (1000/mo. or so). do you think that will make a diff.

i was also thinking about a 94 gsr and building my own turbo kit for it ( 5000 for car and 2000 for turbo kit).

They're not exactly cheap to mod. The cost of parts for a TII are just a little cheaper than FD parts.

Twinturbodork the 240 idea is a great one. The motors are strong and respond extremely well to boost. I have a friend who owns an S13 with an SR20DET and is pushing 23psi on stock internals. Great cars and motors. If you lived down here I tell you to have him install your engine. He can do it in about a week. Also the extra income is always a good thing when it comes to applying for a loan.

Get a MKIII Supra Targa Turbo. It'll change your life for the better. Stong engines, strong cars, strong driveline. Life is good.
