question along the lines of this... i also have a vr fd... interior is stock tan (not anymore though) most interior to be put in is leather or suede, black and grey...
now im painting my car white, not like base mixer white or anything though.
two paint choices are as follows....
white diamond (dts caddies, escalades as well)
pearl white (saw one today on the lexus sc400, like white diamond but with whiter basecoat)
there is a LOT of aluminum pieces on the car/ interior. which is best for the small fd set against aluminum (polished of course)
now im painting my car white, not like base mixer white or anything though.

yeah i just switched my vr to black interior...but i thikn when my 99 spec wing comes in i am going titanium grey or cym... just choose whatever color fits you best man....you own an fd thats already the best part!

I always think that the white, IBM and CYM will always look bad *** to me. I will be doing one of those colors to my car. More than likely IBM, cause it is just money. And my car ain't fast enough to be painted yellow. Or yashio factory pink.
