Has anyone ever hooked them up to their amp after getting rid of the stock radio? I started looking and fonud the stock amp is in the head rest it self. I pulled the leather cover off as much as i could but couldnt find the wiring to actualy do any thing with them.

you can get the wiring at the base of the seat, no need to rip

the seats apart. I believe they only run one set of wires up each

seat and split it at the top.

Those speakers are barely noticable when they are on.

they didnt work when i used the connectors at the bottom of the seat thats why i dug into the headrest. I think the amp is in the seat instead of in the car. mine were pretty noticable before i did the new amp and H.U. and since i only really have door speakers i figured they'd be a nice addition, plus they're already there might as well make em work.

the headrest speaker amp is located on the drivers side under

the spare tire cover up against the wall towards the front of the car.

there is no amp in the seat.

Ok i got them to work. both connections are at the bottom of the seat. I dont know why they didnt come alive last time when i tested them. Took me a few hours to get it all going wired up and the interior back in. Defintly not work the work.

Actualy they dont sound that bad there not great but not the worst. Now the factory dash speakers are worthless. However i dont feel like putting that much time into wiring the passenger side up.
