Hello;



I have an odd question - I have an 88 Vert with the leather seats, with headrest speakers, but my console has no controls for the headrest speakers.



I DO have the amp behind the driver's seat, so I assume mine came with the headrest speakers. Did ALL S4's with the headrest speakers have the controls?



If so, I should have the wires under my console to plug them right in, correct?



This is kind of a "just curious" question, as I plan to replace the speakers and wire them direct to the back channel of my head unit, but I was wondering also, if having them in the new circuit would have any advantage?

They will blare, unless they have thier original controls, of which yes, the wiring should still be there. Sounds like some one swapped out the console/armrest assembly for a coupe modeled one, or you just have a gaping hole where the controls used to be.

 

I must have the coupe version - coin holders, security light, and mirror controls.

I have the plug/set of contol's from a different console, it works I just deleted that part of the system form my car. I have the console too but it would have to be fixed some to install properly, the tab below the control panel is cracked (where it fastens to the chassis) I would part with either if you were interesed/couldn't source one elsewhere.
