Sorry of the big *** pics but my computer crashed and I havent reloaded photoshop yet.
I shaved my new UIM down to bare bones.
What do you think? This is sanded down to 180 grit so far.

Anyway. I will finish it off tomorrow.
I also am doing a filler neck and a water pump housing that I shaved the Air pump bracket off of.
I have to go through emmissions testing then I will swap these parts on to my car.
I'll sell the UIM I have on my car now if anyone is interested. $200.

I don't understand what you're doing, Dave. Shaving the UIM? Usually shaving means removing, no? lol
I shaved all the front brackets off the UIM. The two for the WG and PC solonoids off. Also the mount of the pressure tank is shaved off. I shaved the casting lines off. I shaved off the ovel humps from the front side.
Just compare that pic to any other 3rd gen UIM and you should spot the areas that have been shaved down.
