I plan on swapping my entire interior out with the stock black.

All the interior pieces come out.

 

That's what I would do, if I could ever find black interior.. About how much would the swap cost?

 

I see guys selling an all black interior every other month, it is gonna cost you probably every bit of $1000.

Maybe more.

I read in an old super street magazine that a basic interior swap only costs in the area of $400-500. Now the Rx-7 doesn't have much to swap so I dont think it would be much more then that. You only pay more for other rx-7 interior because I am sure it is hard to find....if that makes any sense.

Well how much could it possibly cost to cover two seats...and few square feet of carpet and 2 door inserts. That is about as basic as you can get!! I am not sure I would even want to pay that but I am pretty cheap :redface:

 

well, now that i know that it can be done that way....... then time to save up some more money........ damn this car is a money pit

 

didnt know that the inner leather lining can be removed and replaced
