first i know zilch about audio...having said that, i need to replace my door speaker (non-bose in fd). what type of inexpensive speaker will work? i thought the stock sound was acceptable (like i said, i'm no audio expert). are 2-way speakers something that will sound okay? i don't know what coaxials are.

Maybe talk to SlowLX on the local boards, he works at and his parents own stereo sales. He'll guide you in the right direction.

Thats something I've been looking at lately myself. Thinking about putting in some 2 way components up front and maybe putting in a couple of layers of sound deading in the doors while I'm at it. Should be a decent improvement over the standard set up.
