I was really bored today so i decided to look at some of the "minor" problems on my car. The problem was that the cruise control switch would fall into the guage bezel part. So it took i all apart today only to find the mounting points on the switch were broke and the part on the bezel were broke( so i think no big deal i dont use the cruise control anyway). Well another problem was the guag bezel it self wasnt attached to the dash at the bottom, so i look and the part where the screws supposed to go is broken off. So my "minor" problems are a lot worse than i had expeced. Now i got to try and find a way of fixing this ****.

Ah, someone has been in there before, either to repair, or maybe they

were rolling back the odometer.

Dont fear, I dont think your problems are that big. The gauge surrounds are usually sold dirt cheap, not many people need them, I have seen them go for about $5 on Ebay, but Im sure you can get one from someone parting a car out.

Nothing some epoxy here and there wont fix.

Funny you mention rolling back the odometer. Some one did it had an oil change sticker and the mileage on the sticker says it was changed about 450 miles later than what it shows on the odometer now after ive been driving it.

lol yup, see the thing to worry about is when your mileage is over what the sticker says, cause then someone hasn't been nurturing it correctly

he, I said that because he said the mileage says it was changed 450 miles before what it is now and he had been driving the car. The oil was changed right before he got the car, so my guess is he put about 2500-3500 miles or so on the car since then. The sticker is for when the oil needs to be changed next, not when it was changed
