anyone know what purpose either of the wires serve?

 

antennea, they allow you to recieve radio signals



the cars have 2, one in the window and one on the body, you

only have to use the one with a aftermarket radio

 

which one should i use with an aftermarket head unit? the integrated antenna in the rear glass or the power antenna? can i use both?



those two wires actually go into a connector with "3" female connections...so a total of 3 wires...

is the third one ground? and if so...which wire is which

 

ok....so there's a grey wire and a pink wire (but I don't know which wire leads to which antenna)

i think the third wire attaches to the shielding around the 2 wires (for ground)

 

I dont have a FD, but antennea wires cannot be mistaken for

normal wiring. You can buy a union from a place like radio shack and

use both wires if you want.
