Thumbs up

I am entering my FD for show in a couple of weeks in The Four & Rotary Nationals but just wondered if any of you who have done shows before have any tips, tricks or advice on how I can get my FD looking its best leading up to the show and during.

Thank you for any suggestions.

Clint.

Clean, clean, clean. Interior, exterior, engine bay and underside.

You could try some hand or machine glaze on the paint. I try and stay away from the ultra shiny interior applications like Black Magic.

Make a plaque for yourself telling about your car: year, model, interior modifications, exterior modifications, engine modifications, etc., etc. Highlight the parts that stand out about the car.

I always display some of my RX-7 books, models and pictures in the trunk area.

Good luck.

clean every single nook and cranny, when you think your done, clean

it some more.

clean everything metal, use silicone on everything plastic and rubber

after cleaning them to give them shine

you would be shocked how many people show dirty cars.

Cool thanks for the suggestions guys. Car is pretty clean at the moment but I know it needs to be immaculate for show.

Our cars pretty much stock with no noticeable mods so we aren't expecting to win anything at all its just to help fill the club stand and I guess make people aware that they were made up to 2002, and because its probably the only 2002 in New Zealand.

Yeah it must be hard when there are so many of them that look the same. There are going to be 10 other guys with their FDs from my club (FD Kai) showing so I'm not expecting to win at all, just doing it for the experience.
