If anyone is near Bremerton this Sat(June 15th), I'm going to have my Kelmark/TurboII at the car show at the Perry Avenue mall(Northeast Bremerton, 2901 Perry Ave.) I've been working on this two and a half years and this is my first show! Its the only TurboII powered Kelmark there is.

Man, I'd love to go see it, but I have a wedding to go to that day.

Well, my first car show was kind of disapponting. It was the first time they had this car show, so I don't think they really had it down. No awards for, imports, sports cars, kit cars, etc.(they didn't really know what to make of my car with a rotary engine.) They did have an award for "Euro Car" that went to a riced out Honda(I think it was a honda.) There were about a half dozen imports there(out of 100-125 cars.)

Well, the "Cruz" in Port Orchard Aug 11th is 10 times bigger with lots more going on(live music, beer garden, food, arts fair, parts venders, 30,000+ people, etc, and a whole lot more good looking women!) I hope to see a lot of rotary cars there.

Well, to the people that ran the show,if it wasn't a Chev or Ford, it was a "Euro" import. So to them a Honduh was a "Euro."When I told them I had a '78 Kelmark, they went What?? What country was that made in?(made in Michigan!) And when I told them I had a Mazda Rotary TurboII engine(in the back), I think their brains went into overload!!

Well, to show you how this show was, the big Peoples Choice award went to a stock PT Cruiser with a bunch of toy cars on its hood!(Go figure!)

Well, the "Cruz" Aug 11th here in Port Orchard will be a lot more fun, at least there will be people there that know what a rotary is or own one(or two, or three.)
