My sun roof is broken,,,it sounds like its working but nothen happends i bought the car like this me and my friend think its a belt or something??? anybody have any input i dont wanna have to rip of my roof and shiznaz

 

I have the same issue. I think it's the worm screws that go down the side, I need to remove the sunroof and clean all the tracks, lube, etc... not an easy task.

 

mine gets stuck every now and then



so i need to assit it

 

mine stopped working, and turned out the motor and cables need replacing. buy the stuff used, it's a ripoff new (of course, it's also a ripoff charging me $300 to fix it)

 

have you tried pushing it by hand to help it a bit?

 

all the fc's do this, if it works keep it lubed, if it doesnt work leave it closed, its a pain to fix

I tried helpen it out but got nothen its tighter then the farmers daughter and i just cant pop this one,,,i was talken to some guys at one of the garages i goto and he said his did the same thing but his 7 came with an "s" shape allen key type of tool he used to crank it open,,,there is a little nut type thing behide the sunroof maybe ill mess with that,,,nobody else ever had any trouble with sunroofs,,,power windows on the other hand,,,forgedabout it thats the next thing on my list to do,,,thanks for the help if anybody else has any ideas drop me a line,,

you need to take the whole thing out and there are cables, guides and a whole bunch of other crap that it will need

how do u take it apart where do i start?? i have no clue that and how do i take door panels off i gotta fix everything,,,,with the doors i took all the screws off but i still couldnt get it off????
