How Do You Install A Car Stereo?

Was kinda wondering how I install the stereo I have for the car into the ride... i'm not sure if i need to pull some things out or not like with the t2 being amplified etc... Any hints/tips would be appreciated.
Also, has anyone here done the battery relocation? Im thinking about doing it while the car is apart but im not sure if i should mess with it or not.
