Well i got into my dash and got the old radio out and i have my new harness and all the plugs match up except one its the one that is the AE round 6pin plug and i have an extra left and right front two channels i suppose of my harness. How do i wire this up? I heard something about going under the dash and getting it off the amp, but no one has clearly explained to me how to do this. By the way this is in an 88 vert, i ve got my cd player all ready to mount in and lookin good and i have already changed all the speakers before i jumped on this so i m ready for the extra power.

when i installed my head unit I removed all of the amps and heat sinks from each speaker enclosure. I direct wired the two under the dash up front and secured the speaker wire.

For the rear I wrote down which wires made it to the rear enclures, then found them in the connector that was plugged into the stock radio harness up front. Cut them out and direct wired them. Saving me from having to run speaker cable to the rear strut towers.
