Gotta Get A New Amp...

Focal builds JMLab home speakers. $65,000 USD a pair for the Grand Utopia. DynAudio are great, but they can't compete for spendy.
Not to turn this into a pissing contest but ever looked at a Audiophile magazine. 65k is probably in the used for sale section. I have my eye on the B&W nautilus 802's that George Lucas used while making the last Star Wars movie. But they are 15k a pair and I am broke But one day.........

ok for the person who wants a decent stereo setup for decent amount of money what are you recommendations... also i want to keep it simple.
I have a decent sony deck...
i have 2 blown rear tower speaks in my FC
i was hoping to run
6.5 inch rear infinity kapa 62.5i in rear
6.5 for door
- so i was thinking Infinity Kappa 60.5cs component system.
Is it better to drive all four speakers with a 4 channel amp? or find two 2 channel amps? my sony deck has 3 output that are 5V i think... sub, front and rear.
I don't really want to run 3 seperate amps... since i want an amp for a sub later.
suggestions...
remember price is an object... and i'm not a true stereo fanatic... i just want something that i can use to pound some old school hip hop when i'm in the mood to listening to jazz.

IMO...
Sony head unit will be fine
1- 4 channel amp (middle of the road quality) mtx, orion, fosgate
1- 2 channel amp (see above)
Infinity Kappas will rock, size may require adaptation in the doors
run all the Kappa's off the four channel amp, the component system, and the amps for that matter, should come w/ crossovers for mid and hi
2- subs (again middle of the road quality)
bridge the two channel amp
after the system is running, if the draw is too much, there are other options; higher amp alternator, stiffing cap etc.

Cheers, get a PPI amp. Art of Noise on Dundas in Miss. has them. They have 4 models you may want to look at. A 2X50, 2X80, 4X40 & 4X80. Built in crossovers. I used a 2X50 from them for years and never really wanted more power. I had it hooked to 4 Pioneer drop-in speakers in parallel and an Orion 12" sub. I just wish I had better speakers and a better head unit (cheap Pioneer).
