I got my car back from the body shop yesterday....here are a few pics of the new AbFlug front bumper. The car is a bit dirty in the pics and is sitting up like a 4x4 due to the motor sitting on the floor next to it. She will be back on the streets in a few weeks finally....she has been down since 9-28-02.

From what I had read on a few Japanese sites regarding AbFlug's kits is that the top slit was used for radiator airflow....wether it is true, who knows. But, with my FMIC, my radiator does sit up taller and more vertical and I can see it through that slit so it has to help at least a little bit. I liked the function of the bumper and I thought it looked more Japanese than alot of the kits which to me almost look Americanized, like the FEED Type II. I love that front end but when I see it I see an American FD instead of a Japanese FD so I went with a little bit more of that crazy Japanese look without going over the top, I thought. I was unsure at first when I got it, but the more I see it, the more I like it.

I give mad props to Chuck at Rotary Extreme for such a great fitting kit. The lines are awesome...I will get some better pics of how well it all lines match up with the fender, headlights, and hood. Miuch better than that Pink car that I had first saw with the kit...I am not a fan of that car. Thanks for the compliments everyone, now I need to get my motor put in and get her on the road again.

Yeah I like the function of the slit for the radiator when using fmic's. I bet you could put together a duct that would really help to utilize the slit in the bumper.
