I want to strip, Polish and wax the FD. Whats the best combination you've used?



Should I go with products from the same manufacturer, like a kit.... or piece one together myself?

Meguair's clay bar. PITA to use though.

" " Gold class car wash

" " Show car shine (tan bottle)

" " High tech yellow wax (tan bottle)



This stuff works great for me.

i like to use a clay bar and mcguires cleaner wax, it gives good results for the amount of effort

meguiars is the best commonly found cleaners and waxes for the money.





i have 10+ years of detailing under my belt, and personally, i use 3m finesse it for cleaning, and 3m finish it for the waxing....

banzaitoyota: do you have any pics of your car after a blackfire 'treatment' ? i've been looking into getting that blackfire kit when my current stuff runs out, but i'm wondering if its worth it. post some pics and let us know what you used guys

 

www.zainobros.com They stuff is amazing. Initial use takes some time but once you have a coat on there maintainance is very easy. The car almost looks like glass when light reflects off of it.

 

Try the 3m Perfect-it III system, much better

 

Where do you guys buy the 3M stuff? I use Mcguiers paint cleaner, then polish twice, then wax.
