ok, so i'm getting another fc and its missing the stereo surround, and the heater/blower/duscts are all gone too. i think i'm going to put that stuff back into it, but i want to do something neat for a ceter console and need idears.



i want something simple, that i dont have to make a mould for, any takers?

may be a stupid idea, but can you take an fd console out and put it on an fc ?

 

that would probably be more work than glassing something entirely custom.

 

while you're at it, make a new thing that goes between the seats, the armrest thing. maybe something with a cupholder. mine cracked all to hell.



ok, you have this big hollow space in the dash. Cut a hole in the top portion, and build a plexiglass wall of the front. Then you have a bin, for which to place ice and a can of coke. Sounds crazy, but that's actually something I would do, if I had the option. And for a/c, you still have the side vents. Plus the air could be further cooled by the ice. I love me a cold coke.

id almost rather do wood than fg because theres no mold i just get to make the thing

 

it would be nice if there was a way you could make it more round/curvy.. but that would require all the molding/fabrication crap that goes along with it.



you could just put a stock console back in, and paint it.. umm, but that would be ricer ..

 

just make it a storage pocket? seems like you have everything you need already, unless you want a spot for a head unit or warning lights. Which you could always put behind a wood face if need be.
