Lately i've been thinking about making some with fog lights or driving lights in them. I might get around to testing next week or something. What does everyone think?

 

umm they used to sell those on rx7.com, they may still, bc they were stock in japan i think.

 

mine will have more functional lights hopefuly if i can find some to fit, that actualy output something. Thoes others were just 5 watt bulbs or something if i remember right.

 

are you wanting to retain the ftp ability?

 

they dont have any reflectors in them, if you put in just another light its not going to project that good, and if you put a whole driving light in there it will look like you have a fog light inside of the FTP and look rather ghetto

 

Im aware the stock ones dont have reflectors, I was thinking something along the lines of the 99 spec lights. rob if you tinted the lense would it help with not looking ghetto or would it limit the light output and defeat the whole purpose?

i had thought or that too.. but seems like most lights are too big to fit in there.. im just gonna color sand the lenses and buff em.. then clear coat em and reinstall em..
