? On Front Lense Thingy
#1
Ok so for the longest time I thought those little clear lenses right below the flip up head lights were lights themselves, if they are not lights then what are they. Plus I see alot of people takin them out to get some more cold air into their engine, so is this a good idea.

They are called FTP's or (flash to pass lenses) they are used Japan as actual headlights....they sell them at corksport.com and ppl do take them out......but there are things in the way to your intake so there is no point in doing it........but I have mine out because I took my retrator fuse out for my headlights and just let them shine threw that. When I get enough money I will buy the actual lights that go there......

There's my '88 without the lenses in. The car was missing one when I bought it, so the other one went bye bye too. I think it looks even better without them, but I wish I at least had an S5 front bumper :[

the overseas ones have lights in the lense itself.
they are for flash to pass, so when you want someone to move out
of your way you can hit the bright lights and the lights dont need
to pop up to shine thru

5 watt lights or something like that, hardly lights.

I'm sure taking those out would mess with your drag coefficient. I'm sure not much, but I dig the streamlined air effect.
