my fellow fd owner asked me an audio question and since i don't anything about audio i'm posting it here.

i don't know the components of the Bose systems in the fd (especially since mine doesn't have one) but my friend is wondering if he should spend $100 to have the Bose amp (amps? $100 each) repaired or just put that money towards a new system...although he doesn't want to break the bank doing that.

sorry if this question doesn't make sense but i was interpreting the question from my answering machine.

thanks

The bose is junk. Not worth repairing. My amps are going too so the speakers cut out if I turn it up past half volume. Its best to just rip out the stock crap out and do it properly.
