I grabbed the new snout for the FC today, say by-by to all the emblems and markers now, just clean body lines. The new hood is ready to squirt, and the decklid is ready for primer/sealer w/o that piece of **** wing, hopefully it will go back together quickly-Sevenstock is just around the corner!

I'll post some progress pics asap

Yes, I tried, unsucsessfully, to remove the raised mazda emblem from a spare snout. Evidently the injection process into the mold only flushes the surface of the emblem, just under the surface it becomes very pourous. All in the past now, I just have to finess the replica piece some, and send it to the booth.

UMM... nevermind. I should have done alittle more homework and got the scoop about replica parts, P.O.S. for sure.

I should have took Rob's advice and got the front lip in the first place!

how bad did this bumper end up being? I've heard that they can be really bad, but most people just fit them anyway.

Who made it?

I like Border noses, when I got the bucks I'm getting one, unless I can convince one of the dumb broads that live in my building to run into the front of my car!

The snout was about 3/4" too wide and the molding that wrapped around the lower fender to the fender well was not cut straight at all. I think they took it out of the mold while it was wet which may have allowed it to flex some.
