not unless the salesman tells you under hood temp results.........or wind tunnel performance.

naw its more of styling. You can reduce you under hood temps dramatically be removing the rubber strip on the fire wall if you want to save a lot of money.

I tried removing the strip on the firewall and I'd recommend against it because rain leaks through. But that's just me... I don't know if others have similar results.

I was under the impression that removing the molding at the back of the hood would be a bad thing. The high pressure are formed at the windshield would tend to force air in to the engine bay from the wrong direction. While this may bring down engine temps, it would also slow the flow of air from the front of the car causing less velocity across the radiator and intercooler.

Other than that...pick the hood ya like the looks of the most.

I got the knightsport CF knockoff by VIS, and I think it does an excelent job.

I installed my RE N1 CF hood last night and can't beleive how much heat was venting out of the hood while the car was sitting after running it. I had no idea how bad it really was. Definitely a good investment

oh, the vis guys... how is that hood? I was thinking of getting it but I'm kinda skeptical when they don't have pictures of the hood.
