So my wife's POS 1998 VW jetta blows the upper radiator hose. Ok no biggie, I take it to work to fix it. The hose is special order, won't have till tuesday. LIST PRICE IS $185 with my discount I get it for $120. ******* German bastards. This hose looks like an octopus. It connects to 6 different places (radiator, water pump, oil cooler, thrermostat housing, cylinder head, and coolant tank. Go VW!@!@@

The money spent in vehicle maintenance evens out...once in the VW for some insane amount....6 times in the Mazda (or whatever) for a lesser amount...I bet it's all even when it's all said and done.
