So my wife's POS 1998 VW jetta blows the upper radiator hose. Ok no biggie, I take it to work to fix it. The hose is special order, won't have till tuesday. It connects to 6 different places (radiator,water pump, oil cooler, thrermostat housing, cylinder head, and coolant tank. Go VW!@!@@

No try we have to replace one for every 8 vw hoses. My friend has gone through 3 jettas in the past year, all pos's, they fall apart so fast.

The money spent in vehicle maintenance evens out...once in the VW for some insane amount....6 times in the Mazda (or whatever) for a lesser amount...I bet it's all even when it's all said and done.

the radiator hoses in my gsl-se are 15years old..... actually i literally just added oil in that car for the last 2 years, and its the track beater
