hey Cheers: Go get a job at the Steam Generator change-out
I could, but I really have had it with the politics associated with the nuclear generating industry, also the fact that it's pretty much in the middle of no where doesn't help.
I had dreams of getting a job downtown, move to downtown toronto, get rid subaru, keep teh rx7 as strictly pleasure (un-modded) walking to work everyday, get an nice apt on the water...
But it turns out there are zero engineering jobs downtown toronto, and that they are all financial jobs.

The real estate so I can handle the business side of it. I also have a very keen business sense

Hahahah, famous last words. Half of the contractors/builders I know, wanted to be able to do all sides of the business of building, subdividing, contracting, etc. but it just wasn't physically managable. Good luck.
Although, NY is the worst state in the US to move property in, everything has more paperwork, more positions, and needs more time than anywhere else in this country.
And as far as everything else you said:

LOL ^^^ Time to get rid of that sig, it get's old, and sorta NWS lol....

Heh, not last words in my case. My parents are developing a 126 acre subdivision right now, and I've been following every step of the way. the engineering firm we are working with are also family members, so I've been able to watch the processes of that also. I KNOW i can do it.
I'm one of those people that does things that everyone says is impossible, just because they said it.
