yay my r132 all leaked out

So tomorrow I get to try and track down the leak. Gonna use the dye and uv light any tips??

any work done on it as of late? if so id check all the fittings first most commonly i found it to be a failed o-ring.

did you convert it over?



did you change all the o-rings to the new green style?

or something corroded

The guy who owned the car before me converted it, he replaced the lines and the pump. It's been fine for about two years.

no real trick, just look at the connections..



if its something in the front, like the condensor, the liquid leaking out will attract dirt, so IF there is goopy dirt in the condensor, that might be your leak

I filled it with the dye, but it's too bright out for my cheasy little UV light to work, so i ran it for about an hour and will go check it in the dark. If that doesn't work i'll have to run to advance auto and have them do a sniffer on it.
