Just got hooked up on xm SR, all the hype about no commercials and what not.. It seems to be BS, there are commercials, just one at a time, and like 2 minutes long... I have had it one day, after the first hour, I turned it off and went back to local radio...Is sirius any better?

sirius is commercial free. the only time there's no music playing is when the dj's are talking, or an interview is going on.

plus howard stern, and hardattack 27, best effing channel!

youll never listen to cd's again I can tell you that when you are driving. sound quality is good, and it's cheaper for 3 month subcription than 3 cds are.

I've been driving around with a Sirius receiver in my trunk for a long time now, maybe I should install it?

I've had xm and sirius both, i started with xm when it first hit the market. i dispise regular radio, xm is "supposedly" commercial free, however they are constantly "plugging" crap which for some reason they don't consider commercials.

I have switched to sirius and i love it, their programming, customer service, etc... rocks. Amy was never impressed with xm, she loves sirius. I have one in each car and one on my boat. All of their music channels are commercial free and they actually are, i don't listen to many of the other channels so i can't vouch for them.

xm sucks in comparison to sirius, there is no comparison.
