It also seems shes not the one who told you, so you may actually hurt her MORE by approaching her about it. She may think your pitty'n her and "looking down to her".

Personally, in my situation - I will never forgive, and have a much better chance at forgetting than the former. As for Unique's actual situation - a less-personal way of contact such as an email wouldn't be completely out of line if you feel inclined to send your wishes, but it is in no way an obligation for you to send your heart out after having your own played...

Thats a tough one... All I can say is I appreciated all the cards I recieved more than someone calling me up or coming over to my house and getting in my face pimping me about everything, espically when I know that they are just doing it cause they want to make themself feel better. Cards are nice because its one-way communication and dosent lead into anything.
I would never wish this, or any illness on annother person but I do believe in Karma...

I guess a better question would have been "How much would you care/what would you do?" since I don't know of too many people who wouldn't give a ****.

I don't think I would care any more/less. There again if everyone else abandons her I think I would step in, turn the other cheek as it were.
