It would re-strengthen my theory that what goes around comes around.
That was my first thought on the matter.

Hey life is too short to hate people, but in the same respect when they cause unhappiness in my life there is nothing that will convince me to bring them back into my life.

Just because she is sick, does not change the person. I would have more pity on someone I don't even know being sick then someone who has cause pain in my life.

Like I said before, it would simply strengthen my belief that your actions will inevitably come back to haunt you.

I wouldnt wish cancer to anybody, and would feel bad if somebody i knew got it. Not saying i am going to go and see the person and bring them flowers, but im not going to be like...good...she got cancer...serves her right.

Depends if my feelings had gone neutral for her or not. If I hated her with a passion still bluntly I'd pray about the whole situation. If I was totally neutral it would be "Oh that's too bad"

Wishing ill upon someone no matter what the situation is never a good thing allthough I'm certainly guilty of it when it concerns my wife's ex.

God requires that we forgive, but we don't have to forget.

Honestly I would leave the situation alone. Let your yea be yea and your nay be nay as it were

Phins nailed it a UniqueTII hinted at it. Bad karma comes back to get you. Cancer sucks! No one in their right mind would ever wish a horrid debilitating disease on anyone no matter how much you hated them.

Unique if I may read into this a little, if your wondering if there is an obligation to "be there" for her I would say no. Being as it sounds like your not on speaking terms I would be careful how you approach this.

Ask yourself this question:

If you dont contact her and she dies will you have regrets? Idf the answer is no then move on. If its yes do what you feel would be right.

None of us here can read your heart. Act on what you feel deep down and that will be the right thing.
