Exactly, I have seen .50cal rounds bounce off of vehicles given impact angle, vehicle speed, and distance. Shooting a .22 at a vehicle moving anywhere between 70-80mph (average) from an elevated position such as an overpass means one thing. Pissing on them would be more dangerous.

The question was "why hasn't this gone national?". It's because he's not that dangerous. Sure he's a nutball, but you're at more risk of serious injury eating at KFC.

3 people died today on a road when a tanker got hit by a dump truck
the 3 people were sitting in traffic in thier cars on thier way to work, 4 others were injured, witnesses had to watch people get burned to death.
"The desperate bleating of a car horn sounded in Will Uettwiller's ears long after he gave up trying to rescue a woman trapped in her car under a burning dump truck.
"She was looking at me, crying for help, beeping her horn," Uettwiller, 42, said. "I can still hear the horn."
