Thumbs up

You mean the prettier version of Win 95... but no quite as pretty as ME?

I wish the rain would stop here... or they would let me out of my cage.

Games are always brutal to a computer, esepecially some of the older games. I've got an old 486 for playing some DOS games on when I don't feel like fighting with XP. Usually something with video that kills em.
are they memory leaks? what does it do to the os? does it rewrite some code or something? I dont' undersstand how running a game can permanently mess up an os

memory leaks and overwritten code usually does it, that and crashing at the wrong moment.

Some games don't properly let go of resources and will cause the system to eat itself. Older games are worse then newer games, plus using features in the OS in a way that's not expected....
