If you really wanna shot with her, though, just go up to her, be yourself, and ask her out. If she says yes, then you're in. If she says no, then you'll be better off. As bad as things seem, the consequences are inconsequential. You aren't gonna get canned for sexual harrassment for asking her out. Either she'll be flattered and say no, or she'll be flattered and say yes.
