Why Is It Always Racial?
I am by no means racial, but lets look at the original question of this post, does anyone get sickened by the racial card, yes I do!!!
Some things that really get under my skin are the orginizations out there that promote racial segregation.
The United Negro College fund.
National Association for the Advancement of Colored People
Any History month
Any survey or questionaire that asks me my skin color or religous preference.
These my friends are just a few ramblings off the top of my head. I am an American, I may have white skin, I may be of European decent but I am an American first. I have rights that people that founded this government granted me, as a citazin of this country to have, and protect.
I am currently in the U.S. Armed Forces because I feel that is what I need to do. I do not believe everyone should be part of the military. Some of us do it for the love of our country. Rules and regulations work because they are enforced.
The Police force is in place to enforce rules as well. Laws are passed for the protection and safety of the masses. Not for one individual or group. This individual broke the rules, now was the amount of force used proportionate to the crime... We can all sit back and be armchair quarterbacks and say yes or no. But this is not our decision, it is up to the lawmakers and the courts. If the individual had lived through the ordeal this would have been played out through the court system and we all would have seen the legal process work, And yet we still will, there will be an investigation, there will be a court, and trial, a jury of 12 from society will decide whether or not the punishment the man received was just. The problem is that this is not about whether the man was balck or white, or even what the situation was about, this is about the media playing with society. The OJ Simpson trial played out before us all on nationwide television. Why? The crime being tried is an everyday occurance in every major city in america on just about a daily basis. Why was this trial so special? Why did it require all this media attention? Because the individual being tried for the crime was a public entertainer, and the media overplayed it for ratings. During the riots that occured in California after the Rodney King fiasco who remembers the White trucker being pulled from his truck and being knocked cold by the angry mob? Did we see a nationwide trial on the individual that hit him? My point is the media blows things like this out of proportion, anything for the ratings...

Nobody knows that truck drivers name. Now you do. I honestly think that racisim is from both sides here.
A few years ago, while in a socialogy class the race card was brought up. I asked the class a question.
"who doesnt pay, or pays very little to goto this college"
99% of the "minority" students raised their hands, 35 people out of a 45 person class. Then i asked another question.....
"who works full-time, and goes to school part time, and spends more than half of thier money to go here"
the 4 "non-minority" students in the class...including myself raised their hands.
nobody is being held down...........and nobody is opressed anymore stop the race card crap at once
then there was that one idiot that was asleep....

im not saying they beat him extra because he was black, im saying they beat him extra because they're ******* cops. and to the other ******** who think you have to start a fight with a cop to get beaten, you dont know what the **** you're talking about. have any of you police lovers out there ever been arrested? or physically assaulted by a cop? you dont gotta look too far to find a cop that will beat your *** for making a smart remark, or simply stating your rights to him.
some of you guys are living in an immaginary world where you think cops are the best our society has to offer. the truth is that cops are the **** of this society and just fill jobs that nobody else wants. anybody with a real education or some ambition in thier life would get a real job making real money. the ppl who dropped outta highschool and got thier ged's become cops and then feel like they have the right to treat people like ****.
IN REALITY THE COPS ARE ****!!!!
******* cop loving pussies.
heres an idea, all of you that think a cop will only beat you if you attack him, do this. next time you're in a dark parking lot and see a cop, look at him up and down and then whisper to him, "no wonder your wife left your ****** ***" i guarantee you will get an *** whipping that night.

Ive been arrested a few times, once was a false arrest, you get what you give.
People get arrested and run thier mouths, so they deserve a smack here and
there. Resist more and you deserve more.
The guy had heart disease, PCP, and cocaine in him.
He was found passed out in a parking lot, they revived him, then he went
nuts.
Regardless of what ******* race you are, you deserve a beating if you are
350+ pounds, all fucked up and resisting arrest and assaulting officers.
When should cops use "deadly force"???? AFTER they get knocked out or killed??
and Roan, I know your a big **********er, but if someone said
"no wonder your wife left your ****** ***" after staring at you up and down
what would YOU do??

Lets make another point with that ****. Reginald Denny, the white truck driver that we all saw get his head cracked open on national televison via a POLICE helicopter feed (i bet you didnt know that). Mr. Denny is now blind in one eye, has lost all his short term memory, needs a tape recorder to remember critical tasks, like pick his kids up from school, and literally cant wipe his own *** (he wears diapers). He life was ruined, the people that almost killed him attacked him because he was white, no other reason

I just saw the video for the first time. I am going to have to agree with Dave on this one. I don't see how anybody can say this guy was treated unfairly. Race?? It doesn't matter. I was in court yesterday for a traffice ticket. It didn't bother me that 40% of the people in their were black and another 40% were hispanic. I have 11 tickets....never once had a warning. Do I play the race car? No!!
As for the guy. When you are doped up on crack you don't feel anything! So beating him was no use. The cops should have known that! Both of those officers could have easily taken him down and cuffed him. I have seen it done on bigger people then him!
Cops have this attitude that they can get away with anything....If they get fired they deserve it!

lets put it this way. the fat guy was on drugs (not in the right state of mind) laying on the ground cracked out or whatever . cops ask or picks him up and tries to arrest him , he resists ...he swings whatever , so the cops starts beating his ***..c'mon now we all now he got more of a beating then he deserves ..so the cops is gona beat his *** till they gets him handcuffed? ibet if there was a competition to see which cops and his partner could handcuff a fat guy on drugs , i will certainly for sure know it could be done without the beating. it was just an opening for the cops to say hey, hes on drugs heres our chance to beat the **** out of him and get away with it. and as for talking **** to an officer..u can say the **** u want to an officer and there not suppose to even touch you and i dout a cop would either.. or else i would of talked **** to an officer and sue his *** afterwards ..if i lived of course
