No, they are factory released in VIN 'A' Quad4s (the getrag trannies), and a few others.. Hit up a scrapyard and read VINs, get parts, double check casting numbers, and you win.

Cool

I've heard nothing and I mean NOTHING good about the Quad4's, my best friend (the one that killed me in his Grand Am) had the quad4 and he hated it.....I wonder how I'm getting dual stripes then...o well....i know it has a different tranny than it came factory and engine also..but I know where the engine came from and I assume the tranny is stock from a different car...now come on ppl, how many of you have heard of a Beretta with a supercharged 3.8? yeah that's what I thought...and as for buying a 7, I had a base, the easiest to maintain and fix from what i can tell, and I couldn't find/afford parts, so until I start making way more $$$ and find the T2 I dream of, I drive a beretta, maybe I'll just get the **** fixed and just drive it and not try to make it any faster or better, have it just be a beater, but damn I LOVE having a project...

biggest probs with the quad4's is they are EXPENSIVE to maintain. Bad as rotaries hehe

Arrow

I've seen several turbo buildups for 3.1's, using custom fab almost everything, and a turbo pulled off a thunderbird SC, but I want something built for boost that I won't have to have parts made for if they break, i know a lot of the newer Buicks are SC'ed and I figure one of them has GOT to have a 3.8...even a SC'ed 2.8 would work since a 3.1 is just a bored 2.8....bleh i want boost, never had a turbo/supercharged/boosted car...I realize this could get just as expensive as a 7, but again the exclusivity would be great.....maybe I'll just get the **** box looking and riding good and sell it for 2-3x what I paid and get another N/A or if it's at all possible TII......bleh, I'm le tired, bed time..
