I always wave people in, have those friendly hand signal chats with people.Say Thanks! But I don't let people merge unless they signal! It's my quite protest! Eventually I think they'll catch on!!

After living in Japan for 9 years there's no way in hell I can say that I am a polite driver! As long as you say gomen or smile and bow after intentionally cutting someone it is considered polite driving over here!

 

in new york, there is no such thing as polite driving, i just flip the bird at everyone in advance, like if i merge onto the highway ill just keep my hand out the window with my middle finger up,,, also if i do let someone go and they dont wave i pass them and cut them off and throw my starbucks white chocolate mocha venti at them, hehe :wave:

 

I'm polite and such but it doesn't matter here in Iowa. For some reason everyone has this desire to tailgate and pull in front of you. It's like they don't understand the laws of physics where it comes down to braking.

 

yup, yup and yup...you better have a signal light on if you want to merge into my lane.

as far as ppl tailgaiting, just keep you e-brake nicely adjusted.

 

I'm the most polite and laid back driver I know, unless someone does multiple stupid things in a short amount of time.
