is it just me or have ppl stop saying thank you when you politely give them the right of way??

im very polite, most of the time, when i drive and i expect the same back.

is that asking for too much??



what do you guys/ladies think?

 

I especially hate the tractor trailers that I flash over ... when they don't say thanks.

I always wave thank you. Women usually don't wave, and the older they get the less likely they are to give you the right of way. I'm not sexist. I just speak the truth.

 

Yea absolutely, the first thing I noticed, is when I first started driving when you were in a left turn lane and the lilght when yellow, the oncoming lane would stop, now they run through the light and leave your *** hanging in the middle of the street.



I am a pretty laid back driver, I don't think that not letting someone in front of you is worth anything, you aren't going to get there any faster. The only time I won't let someone in front of me is when they are trying to merge onto the freeway at 30 miles an hour when the traffic they are merging with is going 70, that is dangerous.

 

i always say thank you when someone lets me into the lane. i consider myself a nice driver. if someone needs to get into the lane and they acknowledge that im there, ill let in. if they just try and cut me off and they didnt have the chance to get in, good luck cause ur not getting into the lane.even like exiting the gas station or freeway, ill let some of the cars go even if i have a full green light ahead of me.

I always wave, its hard to get a wave when you yield to someone else, usually they are on thier cell phone and cant let go of the wheel to wave.
