Where Does I-95 Start And End?

For arguement sake, how would you explain I-80 that basically runs west to east, through the middle of the country from San Fran to New Jersey?

Well, what I think it could mean is continent, not just the US.



The east/west thing I thought applied to state highways at first, not interstates, but phin's post I think suggests otherwise.

It's called the Eisenhower interstate system. Google it and you will find plenty of info.

You can read all about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interstate_highway



There is no truth to the "95%" contintal or otherwise... think about it, that would no matter where you split it, have to duplicate numbers from the center out.



As the article explaines, they started the Eisenhower highway system from the west coast and ended on the east cost.
