Yeah Rob, i've never heard of a single cam pinto motor making 250hp like he claims. You cannot make the ports big enough to flow that much, you hit the water jacket.



Yes, the US tempo (europe its called the Sapphire and Sierra) Has a single cam pinto motor with opposing rocker valve actuation. All Sports 2000 and Formula Ford 2000 cars have this motor. The most you could get out of it with 93 octane and the shitty intake manifold it has is about 150-180 at the crank.
