I was just about to ask that, since you'd be running quite lean as the last few drops went through.

Made me wonder, too, whether it would be safe to accellerate, brake, or turn sharply on under 1/4 tank or so, if it could slosh around and leave air bubbles in your fuel line? Or would that happen?

iof it sloshes enough the fuel pump sucks air and boom.

that is the reason my car has a sump on the tank!



my car also gets like 200 miles per tank ......... that is with me and my *spirited driving*

does the same priciple apply to n/a rotaries? (if gas is gone engine goes boom?)

I DONT THINK IT APPLIES TO N/A CUASE THEY DONT HAVE TO WERRY BOUT RUNNING LEAN. THE TURBOS CARS AND fd HAVE TOO CAUSE IF THEY RUN TOO LEAN THEY GO KABBOOOM I THINK THE N/AS WILL JUST CHUCKLE AND DIE LOL...

It would blow up Na rotaries too, because any rotary doesnt like goign lean and dentonation will occur on a NA.... i think
