its a scam. they charged me for 79 dollars to give me a sponsorship worth 10,000. WTF is that? i tried to e-mail them and call them about 25 times each to get my money back. i had to despute the charges with my credit card.

oh yea I e-mailed motorex ot get information on racerx but they have never heard of them.

I applied for the hell of it. It's a rip off totally. First they charge you $75 to apply, then they send you a letter in the mail saying you have been approved. They then send you stickers and a contract saying you are eligible for $10,000 in rack labor. Woopee! Like I would drive from Iowa to MD just to get free rack labor. It's a scam.

It's a very deceptive ad and scam. Don't do it.

Sponsorship implies discounted and/or free parts. This $10k free rack labor is BS.. like anyone would trust them to do stuff to their car.

Yea, I found the thread by the others...finished reading it. If they are in MD, thats pretty close for me and some other members on the forum..anybody up for a "personal" visit?? If they are gonna sponsor you all, maybe they'd like to meet fist to face...i mean, face to face

I have the racerx one. they could do better on large purchases but to date i've gotten 30% off retail on all major purchases with free shipping. MY hks ss manifold was out of stock at hksusa so it had to be special ordered form japan. imagine the shipping on that. the price for the manifold is 1060 from hks so figure 30% off that. My turbonetics To4e ceramic bb turbo lists form turbonetics for over 1400 I got it for 1000 shipped.

Oh yes the manifold was shipped from HKS japan to my work. the ****** had the japanese QA guys stamp on it. To me 30% is 30% with free shipping. and in reno where we have no real shops its a deal for me..Yes they are hard to get on the phone. the one Real shop we do have around here is owned by a friend of mine and he still couldn't match or beat the price I got my parts for. so for me they work out just fine for now. I see where people got upset by them claiming 50% off retail but it said up to 50% off (25-50% off retail) thats just my input on them.

Yes it works for me they are quite easy to deal with (for me anyway). the other thing was many people thought they were going to give them 10K. At first thats what I thought. but its actually 10k worth of discounted parts. so lets say I got my 400+ discount for my turbo now I have 9600 in discounts left. Also remember they are a buisness that sells parts to eveyone the sponsorship is from them off what they have the list they gave is of the vendors they use for the parts they stock. They are not some huge company like HKS. just another couple of cents
