I was wondering how u get sponsored and what the different amounts are that companies might give u are?



i dont have a car yet cause im 15, and no job yet :redface: and i c that another forum member jus got a 10k sponsorship!!!!



thats crazy!! and it would be awesome to get one to help me out



if any one wouldnt mind telling the the steps to go about it and what not that would be super

who got a 10 k sponsership? I know a good start tho, ask your mom. :yum:

 

mmm yeah, i got 5k in bank and i can get a co-signed loan or what ever for 10k from my mom.. ive already been aproved

 

wll if you get a 10k loan and use your 5k from the bank, and you go to buy say a 3rd gen when you have a license they're going to prolly cost more then 15k by looking at recent price trends, yes believe it or not the prices seem to be going up again, only car in NADA to have price go up, and by 5.3%.



Heck with 15k you'd have to get a lucky deal, then to modify the car enough to be WORTHY of a sponsorship will cost another 10k or more (the guy who just got the sponsorship, r_explicit i believe, spent 18k in the past 9 months on modding the car). Then you have to still pay off that 10k loan.



Those are just the steps to become WORTHY of a sponsor....then you get to convince them that your car would be nice enough that upon people seeing it they would say "hey i want my car to be like THAT"



sponsors aren't easy to come by, thats why r_explicit should be extremely proud.

heres a little tip, dont spend all the money on the car.

 

i know a guy w/ a 02 eclips and he got a sponsorship from AEM while his car was still stock
