dave brubek is great. he is mostly known for the lp "take five" where in that title track songe, they defy contemporary timing, kinda like a rotary, with an off 4 to 5 and weird count theme....but it works....



just for griins, any of you guys want to really smooth your lady over, just pop in some gypsy kings. they are truly a musical aphrodisiac......a good start is the greatest hits......

I am a trumpet player........And my favorite is Miles Davis, Louis Armstrong, Wynton Marsalis. Or if you want the real har core latin jazz my favorite......Maynard Ferguson!! Can't go wrong with these guys!

how about the BUENA VISTA SOCIAL CLUB....those guys are the ****....afro-cuban jazz...



one of the more notable members, Ibrahim Ferrer has a great album out....



it is also a "moist maker" for the ladies in teh dim lights.....
