Screw the stuff on their registry, usually I get one thing for the groom one thing for the bride, even if they are small things it seems more personal to give them each something. If I don't like the bitch he's marrying I'll get a box of exlax or something.

 

I also like gift certs to nice restaraunts for the two, depending on what kind of cash you got, $50 to $100 so they can have a free night out on you.



Then you can ask him if he used it and if he says yea, you can say "see you got laid because of me" no damn it tried to keep it all serious.

 

today i thought of getting them tickets to a concert.

I always buy my buddies this for the wedding night. I have not had a single complaint yet. I give them money too but this is just the bonus gift. Fun for everyone. I usually tell him to put the giftwrapped box in his car/limo/transportation from the wedding reception to the hotel and open it up privetly.
