one of my life-long buddies is getting married in a few months, and i can't think of a good gift. i thought about dishes and silverware and **** like that but that's too normal. i'd like something distinct and unique.
he's pretty philosophical, he's into music, art, that kinda stuff. He's going to school in hawaii, and his fiance is from texas.
maybe lee could burn me a dvd of some 'nice pictures'

This one stumped me too when my brother got married.
Ended up importing some Cuban cigars and bought them some ice wine. Kinda lame, but he loved the cigars and they made their own wine so I knew they'd like it.
Since he's your buddy you could give them a certificate for "One free surrogate father service" 'case they have, you know, problems
