like i always say, you can do whatever you want and brag about an NSX when you have it but at the end of the day you're just another kid driving a honda, only you paid wayyyyyyy too much for your honda.

and at the end of the day you're just another zealot driving a mazda paying too much money to keep it on the road resolving problems it left the factory with.

the NSX will defenately take the FD(personal experience)
first gear they will be even but that will quickly change
also on a side note-handling wise the NSX will tear the FD a new a-hole
(not bashing the FD or the rx7 in general, i had an NSX and know)

NSX's cost a LOT more, so even if the FD loses, it's still a better deal. Plus, IMO, it looks much better.

I've raced seven NSX's of various years (at Sebring International Raceway) and have not lost yet. Granted my car is not stock- but the only REALLY fast NSX that I've seen was supercharged and the guy had well over 80k it (He declined to race). If I spent 80K on my car, I could race an F-15.
They are very good drivers though- I love the mid engine design and the handling. It was between my FD and an NSX when I was shopping around. The NSX should be faster IMO.

i see nsx's handing rx7's their asses all the time at the road courses. the rx7 is no slouch, and i have raced a pair of nsx's and won against both....and both of them were NOT stock. however, as stated above, it is the high end temps and some ustableness issues that lead to the demise of the rx7 on a road course.
and the nsx is not just another honda, just as the rx7 is not just another mazda....

90k for an "exotic" that would lose to a camaro is pathetic. A stock fd should be able to take one. I believe the early nsx had only about 260 hp, and they weigh about 3000 lbs. An fd is lighter is just a tad less hp. Also, I always thought a mid-engined car would be trickier to handle. Either way, f the numbers and magazines and go race one.

Not in his case.
a) im not an idiot i've done research and take time to look at my cars so i don't suffer problems. I've been looking through cars, prices, taking test rides etc for only a span of about 4 or 5 months, in all honesty that is a short period of time when considering a purchase of a vehicle
b) i have a truck that if it had not been keyed i had sold for $17k, then some bitch heard i finally sold it, came by and keyed it and the sale was cancelled.
c) if you're going to try to rip me on the car side of things, learn something about my situation first. I am not some kid trying to get an FD or any 7 for that matter. I'm a car nut/buff who wants the best deal possible and isn't worried about having to wait around for the right deal. Not myfault if you're the kinda guy who dives in head first without knowing what you've gotten into, I like to be enlightened.
d) as i said in another post my old wrangler can prolly beat you in a race anywho so it's not like i'm sitting here dying for speed or rolling around in a metro. I technically have two trucks.
e) finally someone i can have fun with.... bring it on mr. 2nd gens!!!
woo maybe my days wont be boring now hehe.
