i was like "umm its not even from the nineties."



so anyone else have the wrong year guessed for their cars? i know all my friends used to think FD's were like 99 models.

Yep they all think one dacade ahead. FB's are late 80's FC's are early 90's and FD's are like 03 models lol

 

Yes...but has anyone got really pissed at you cause he thought you were lying. The guy that gave me my first inspection sticker got really pissed when I told him it was a 93. He cursed at me and kept saying "I'm not dumb you know"

 

alot of people think my FC is from the 90's as well. like late 90's even. it's rediculous. Bah, i think it's great.

well i did have one person saying there was no way it didnt have pistons, i happened to have my haynes manual with me (like always) and showed them the pics, they swore i was lying and the book was a joke.

most or all my friends are car enthusiasts, so they just say either "is that an 86 FC" or "nice FC"... etc...

i never really had a problem with people asking what car it is or what year it is.

 

Usaually 94-95. A little while back my mom said," I saw an new rx7 at the deal, must have been an 03'"
