#13
One time my roomate's mom commented on my car (back in '99) saying: "wow, you just got that...nice ride...is that like a 1998 or something?"
but then again...she does own a liquor store and was probably drunk at the time...

only a clueless moron wouldnt know the age of the car, people who dont
know anything about cars at all. Its like not knowing the difference between a
C4 and a C5 vette, a 80s camaro/trans am and the current style. No matter how clean and nice the car is, people who know- know. Most people with older cars keep them nice not so people think they are newer, but so people can appreciate
the fact you preserve a older vehicle.

uh oh someone cant take what they dish out.
chill out a little bit.
so what youre saying is that any car on the road you know it's exact year? i didnt think so, i just wanted to see if anyone had funny stories about people guessing the wrong year, just like people guess the wrong make/model of the car.

I can take a good dissing, but that one was so.... well so 8th grade of you!
If someone doesnt know what decade a car is from, then yes they are
clueless. I never said I knew the exact year of every car, but I guess from reading car magazines since I was 9 years old I can come close.
Even a idiot can guess the decade a car is from.
